Thursday November 29th

Today in class you told us the story about when you were in fourth grade and went to the bathroom and flooded the bathroom. After we talked about the bathroom for a little bit, we started tot all about the percentage of the population that is international migrants. In our packet it said it's 3%, but in the powerpoint it said 9%. We first took a vote on what we thought. then, we looked it up and the correct answer is 3%. After that, we started to talk about Trump and migration. I am supportive of Trump and his decisions but they don't really affect me.

November 28th

Today in class, we looked at a packet on migration. We highlighted everything that we had already gone over and learned in the past. I thought it was actually quite a lot of information, it was by the same companies and publishers, so it made sense. I enjoyed doing this since it was like another review and it was starting to make it easy to remember. I think i'm starting to memorize and comprehend the material a lot more than when we started all of this.learning about migration is a lot easier because i've always heard about it through my family and my grandparents especially. As my great grandparents were immigrants from ireland l  fine the topic very interesting to learn about. l  feel as if l  sorta have a connection to it.

November 20th Blog

QUIZ DAY!! today we had a quiz on what we learned from yesterdays video. l   think l  did pretty good although some questions l  had a little struggle with. Although l  had some struggles l  don't think l  will do that bad. We'll see when its on veracross. But l  still am very confident in my answers. l  think l  could've studied a little bit more and maybe l  would of gotten 100 but until the next quiz l  think l  did better than a 40. If not maybe my blogs can help my grade in anyway possible. My grade is an 84 and that is better than last quarter. l  am excited for thanksgiving break and hope that you have a wonderful thanksgiving break with your family and friends.

November 19th

Today in class we found out that we have a quiz tomorrow. Luckily l  have some time to study and make sure my notes are exactly correct and useful information to study. We also watched a video in class about the different countries and continents and how they became rich or poor. Before the industrial revolution all countries were in the bottom left hand part of the graph. After that they all became more and more well off and better economy. The americas were one of the top right in the graph meaning they're rich and healthy. But a lot of countries in Africa were still in the bottom left hand. This surprised me and made me wonder why some countries are more well of then others if they all started in the same place.

Thursday, November 1, 2018

Today in class we continued population pyramids. This interested me a lot. We also looked at the future population in about 40 years. The tree looking bar graph turned into more of a box graph. This means that our world is going to continue to populate more and more. Our future world in the next 40-50 years is going to be very populated. This may cause a problem because there will be scarce resources and jobs. To improve our well- being we need to make sure we have a stable economy and limit the amount of people our world populates. This will help our world tremendously for us and future generations. Hopefully our world will be a better place in the next coming years so our next generations can live fully like us.

farewell
